Hoover Country Club is a private, member owned and operated Club that was established in 1959. It is located in the Green Valley-Star Lake area, where the rolling wooded landscape is made even more picturesque by peacefully meandering fairways of lush green grass and smooth, challenging greens. Hoover Country Club is a splendid, well-developed club, with something to offer every member of your family.
Our recently renovated golf course features rebuilt greens, reconstructed sand traps and a new irrigation system. Our course is easily walkable with over 48% of our members choosing to walk the course. We offer storage service for golf bags and push carts. One of the special features of the course is the system of new water ponds that allows us to always be able to irrigate, even in drought conditions.
Our professional staff features some of the most talented individuals in their fields. Chef Chris Kennedy creates an incredible dining experience for the whole family as our award-winning chef. Our golf professional staff is incredibly skilled and available to work with you to improve your game. Boo Mason is well-known throughout the state as our Head Tennis Pro and has been named as “Tennis Pro of the Year” as well as inducted into the 2018 Alabama Tennis Hall of Fame!
